16.00 End of Conference

General information

The aim of the conference is to allow for a varied set of themes to be presented and discussed in the realm of societal/homeland security research and policy.

Speakers will represent a broad range of stakeholders, including government, academia and industry in the USA and Europe. They will interact with participants in a variety of ways, including key-note addresses, panel presentations, and break-out sessions.

Break-out session themes
There will be four themes for parallel break-out sessions:

  • Chemical/Biological Preparedness, Mitigation, Response and Recovery
  • Explosives/Human Factors
  • Protecting and Securing Critical Infrastructure
  • Command, Control & Interoperability


In addition to these, a special break-out session will be provided on the topic: Doing business within the international S&T community.

Participation
A Request for presentations will be published where interested parties are invited to submit short abstracts describing their interests to present within each theme.
